Technology
TTT(Triple Torque Technology)
Triple Torque Technology (TTT) involves wrapping bias plies (yarn direction 45 degrees, -45 degrees) in each direction with three plies each, reducing the twist of the core at the Tip and Butt sections of the shaft. TTT provides ultimate stability during the downswing and impact moments. The TTT technology adopted in the FERUGA Shaft promotes consistent impact at various swing spots, enhancing ultimate stability, reducing side-to-side dispersion of the ball, and increasing control. Particularly, it minimizes clubhead twist during impacts away from the center, contributing to maximizing the straightness of the ball's trajectory.
LRC(Low Resin Contents)
Low Resin Contents (LRC) enhance the performance of the shaft by providing excellent strength and stiffness at similar weights. Graphite, the primary material of the shaft, is composed mainly of carbon yarn and resin. Among these, we specifically choose Low Resin graphite sheets to maximize the exceptional characteristics of carbon yarn. This choice not only lightens the shaft for increased stability during the swing but also provides a comfortable feel.
1) Lightweight: Low Resin Contents minimize the weight by reducing resin content in the graphite sheets, making the product lightweight.
2) Improved Strength and Stiffness: High fiber content enhances strength and stiffness, increasing the durability of the product.
3) Stability: The shaft exhibits higher stability during the swing, aiding in precise impacts and reducing torsional twisting.
4) Enhanced Feedback: The shaft reacts sensitively to subtle movements, providing users with improved feedback during impacts.
MTT(Multi Taper Technology)
Multi Taper Technology (MTT) is a technique that adjusts the taper from the Tip to the Butt of the shaft to balance its strength. We have a multitude of tapers designed for various concepts through extensive experimentation and design. By combining these tapers with suitable materials, we are developing high-performance shafts.
MTT optimizes the performance of the club by applying specialized tapers to different parts of the shaft. This provides consistent feel and strength as the club moves from the clubhead towards the wrists, contributing to stability during the swing. Additionally, through experimental mandrels and material combinations, we create a variety of shafts that cater to the diverse demands of golfers.
Through MTT technology, we offer customers innovative shafts that enhance the performance and user experience of their clubs. This represents a new dimension of shaft performance tailored to various swing profiles and flex requirements, requiring adjustments in strength and balance.
Proprietary Various Material Application (VM)
Utilizes VM (Utilizes Various Materials) technology involves using various materials in each ply, combining special materials in key areas to manufacture the shaft. We receive a diverse range of materials from graphite suppliers and possess various types of mandrels. Based on this foundation, we conduct designs and experiments that align with each concept. Through Utilizes VM technology, we optimize the combination of different materials to create shafts, providing customers with the highest level of performance.
SSP(Smooth Surface Painting)
SSP (Smooth Surface Painting) is a technique that involves smoothing the surface through hand sanding during the painting process, enhancing the adhesion of the subsequent paint. We perform hand sanding on every shaft more than twice to achieve the best painting surface. This enhances paint adhesion, improving durability and appearance.
